Leaders from all sectors pen open letter advocating for Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport’s sustained operation and development

More than 40 leaders from industries including travel and tourism, aviation, business, healthcare, manufacturing, the arts, retail, education have signed an open letter to advocate for Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport’s sustained operation and development.

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport generates $2.1 billion in annual economic output, is the ninth-busiest airport in Canada, the fifth-busiest Canada-US air crossing, offers 20 direct flights and more than 100 connections, and is supported by an overwhelming majority of Torontonians by virtue of the quick, convenient connectivity it provides.
